I just made my first trip to the farmers market. Everything looked awesome.
I bought organic produce red lettuce, green lettuce, kale, boston lettuce and some long red radishes.
She told me I could eat the greens on the radishes. I nibbled it and it seemed okay but I am not sure just what to do with it.
Any suggestions?

How ironic. I too went to the Farmer's Market today and purchased a fair amount of greens from a vendor. As I was paying he mentioned that he had radishes and alot of people like to eat the radish greens, would I be interested in some? So, I've got radish greens in my fridge right now :) I'll probably start off putting them in a smoothie also. Thats about the safest way to try them. Enjoy!

I also add them to My Smoothies and Salads. I make a Trash Smoothie where I wash all of the Radish. Cut the Greens off and save them for My Smoothie or Salads. Cut the Radish like Flowers and store them and use ALL the left overs in My Trash Smoothie. It doesn't taste to "Friendly" but once it passes the hatch, the Stomach says..........Kool.

Wow - I love radishes, but I don't love the greens so much . . . I put them into a smoothie -- once -- (nuf said). But hey - maybe you'll like them in there, I say just add a few though and see if you like them.

Maybe the ones I had were just really (really) strong.. *Ü*

We've been eating them right out of the garden, and the greens have finally grown enough that they are tough and scratchy.

I think we'll try throwing them in smoothies. Thanks for the idea! :p
