I have had stomach issues for years. Bad. well, since going vegan, then raw vegan it cleared up, i was doing so good! felt literally like a new person.
well, then i ate a donut. then another. then WTH right? fajitas! and then a lot of other stuff. guess what? i lost control. for about a week and a half or so i lost control.
well today was the day of reconing. the few stomach issues i was having again already kicked in full blown on the heels of a donut gorge on the way to work.
i spent the better part of the day in the lavatory, in pain, wishing i had never gone back. when i was able to leave work early and go home i stopped and bought all my veggies again and came home to a green smoothie heavy on the bananas. im doing better but still hurting.
i wont go into details on my issue, but suffice to say it was the worst it has been in years..
i also learned i am an addict. thats not being dramatic. its the truth. one bite turned to a meal, to a day of S.A.D., to a week, to missing work because im sick again.
starting over. i have to. i know that now.....

I'm sorry.
This is, in the greater scheme of things, a bump in the road of your life journey...
Good for you, getting back up and getting back to raw! :)

Sorry to hear about the stomach trouble your having. I have a similar problem in that a first bite of cooked leads to a second bite and moves into a binge and then I finally have to start over again. I have learned that its better just to leave that first bite alone. It sounds like your learning from your experience and that should enable you to turn this stumbling block into a stepping stone. Good luck.

Sometimes people who go all raw cold turkey experience these huge dips into that other stuff. You get to pick your path Matt. You are doing great. Remember it is all a process. Rawk on.
