Peace everyone,

I've been having facial skin problems with acne as well as other related troubles with my face. I've always been the one to say that all of these acne issues are related to detox. My question is at what point exactly do I have to say that it is NOT detox and that instead it may be something that i'm putting into my body instead??
I've been raw for a little over 6 months now, and that's after eating SAD for 22 years, so of course there is more than a lot of room for detox. However, i guess i'm at the stage now where i feel that something i may be eating may be contributing to the skin problems.
What i wanna try is cut down on the nuts to see if it may possibly affect me. I've recently been eating a lot more nuts than before. Can anyone else relate to this???

PEACE

Amen. I'm not exactly sure what I'm doing wrong or if I am doing anything wrong. What I've read so far is that detox can last years, but I think it's a little odd that my energy fluctuates so widely. I can be on speedy gonzalez mode all day, then need to crash for 2-3 days. I'm not sure if it's what my body is eliminating or what I'm putting into my body.

Universal and rawgrrrl - this is being discussed on another post - while skin eruptions can definitely be related to detox and detox can take awhile, it can also be related to other problems - mine was related to adrenals with symptoms like yours rawgrrrl of checking out of society for a few days. B12 is known to increase energy as well as help with stress - I still give myself shots to help, but it can be taken in pill form. My cousin an holistic MD recommends Planetary Forula's Schzandra Adrenal Complex.

if I eat lot of (even raw, soaked) nuts, I have pimples. This work every time I do it. So, I absolutely agree with your suspicion, and linking pimples with nuts. I have moved away from nuts. This happened rather spontaneously, I just don't like them that much anymore.

Also, eating plenty of greens and juicy fruit is great for a beautiful skin.

All the best,
Gosia.

Thanks for the tip, Tex, I will look for that complex.

I do tend to eat a lot of nuts so maybe I'll try cutting down some.
