So I've been off of raw for about a year now, and I've decided it's time to go back. I've been exhausted and depressed lately, and I keep remembering how I great I felt when I was raw. It seems like I never felt bad.
Anyways, I could use some support jumping back on the bandwagon. The thought of giving up cooked seems to be harder this time around and I'm kind of scared of falling off before I even get started.
Any tips for jumping back in?

Just do it....keep enough food around and eat when you are hungry~

I suggest you ease into it with a green smoothie everyday. The great feeling from that smoothie will help make your decision to go back a lot easier and more appealing.

Get reacquainted with the sheer pleasure of a ripe mango, or the smooth creaminess of banana ice cream. Make tasty salads and simply enjoy these things immensely rather than 'giving things up', that way you will ease yourself back into things easily and with enjoyment.
Come back for lots of encouragement!!! :D

Just psych yourself up For it...instead of leaving something else. Don't look back, look forward type thinking.
You might want to take a few weeks to do high raw (70-80% or more) to get you back in the gist of things. Give it a bit of time before jumping into 100% so that you aren't so overwhelmed or fearful at first. Once you do this, then you can see if you want to continue with high raw, or if you are ready to jump in fully to all raw.

Start with green smoothies. This is what i did. I quited raw like you but for two years. I couldn't motivate myself to do that again but i did miss how great i felt too. When i discovered green smoothie, one month after i committed to 100% raw food again.
Greens has so many benefit but one of them, is that they heal addiction.
Congratulations for doing this again!
