OH THANK YOU SO MUCH,
I don't watch TV, and I so very thankful you posted this.
I transcribed it for our deaf members I also put it in the other thread about this.
**********
Man:Alright Katie, thanks. They say, "You are what you eat." Alissa Cohen is the author of Living on live food. Alissa, goodmorning to you.
Alissa: Goodmorning Lester(?)
Man: Thanks for joinging us
Alissa: Thank you
Man: You are a big advocate or raw uncooked foods. Why?
Alissa: Because of the enzymes. Enzymes, vitamins, minerals, that is what is going to keep you healthy and young and alive.
Man: And alot of us know that we don't get enough fruits and vegetables. Raw fruits and vegetables are obviously good. What's a way, and I suppose this is a way, that we are about to talk about to get those things in you?
Alissa: Exactly. This is my power packed smoothie, this is an amazing drink that if you make, if one thing you do in your diet is to change, is to add this...
Man: Alissa, I gotta' tell you, this is not attractive looking,
Alissa: (laughs) Ha, I know, but there's bananas, strawberries, plums, kale, collard, swiss chard. Most people do not eat enough of these greens...
Man: (speaking to Katie) Wanna' try some of this?
Katie: Hi, yeah, I'm your official taster.
Alissa: Oh good. Okay, good. It's really good, it's sweet. You're not, you're gonna' cover up the taste of the greens, and greens are so important, it's gonna' give you minerals, fiber, protein, this is where you are going to get your heavy minerals. What do you think? (small hahaha by Alissa)
Man: It's healthy. large laugh by man
Alissa: You can also add more fruits to make it sweeter.
Man: Ah, it's not bad.
Katie: I think it actually tastes pretty good, I mean it tastes a little like my lawn cuttings, but it's good.
laughs by all
Alissa: Think of what you are getting, I mean most people do not eat this many greens in one day or even a week, so.
Man: You've also got a cucumber here. Is this cucumber juice?
Alissa: It is. It's just cucumber juice...
Katie: I didn't think cucumbers were that nutricious.
Alissa: They're very nutritious, they contain silica, which is good for your hair, your skin, your nails, that's what, how you are going to keep...
Man: Wanna' try it?
Katie: Yeah, sure. Cheers! (glasses clink)
Man: I'm going to this of this as limeaid.
Alissa: If you have any skin ailments, acne, rashes, this is gonna' take it right away...
Man: This actually isn't bad.
Katie: It needs a little salt
Alissa: Manganese, its' gonna' turn your hair...
Katie: Okay
Alissa:... back from gray to it's original color...
Katie: And we're not just talking about vegetables, this is what?
Alissa: This is Fettuccini, ah, angel hair pasta with marinara sauce. This is mango pie and this is fudge. So, when we say, "Raw and living food", it's not just about carrot sticks and celery. This is, and I have 300 recipes in my book, "Living on Live Food" and they are all like this, I mean you can eat banana cream pie for breakfast, pizza for lunch and enchiladas for dinner, and you can lose weight, you can heal your body, look and feel younger than ever and have more energy than you ever imagined.
Man: My kind of diet. Alissa Cohen, thanks very much, it was good having you.
Alissa: You're welcome
Man: Tomorrow and today, more of our ten secrets for staying young.
Katie: And we'll be back right after this. Cheers (as she raises glass)

Good JobChristine! I will forward this to my cousin who is deaf as well, because when it came on, she was in a hotel and her television was not set up for her viewing right at that moment.
Thanks again - oh so much talent on this board - CHEERS * :) *, as she drinks her cucumber-lime juice. Now, that would have turned some heads yesterday and puckered some lips :D

Oh! RP, thank you SO much. I was watching the video in my head while reading your transcript. I really appreciate it. I could catch some of the words they were saying, but I'm usually lost with my closed captioning. :)
