:(

This will be my toughest challenge.

4 days in a hotel with clients and my boss, we'll be working all day together for the most part of 3 days, and dinner/evenings together. My boss regards schmoozing with the clients to be an important part of the job. The interpersonal binding happens over - yes - food and drinks!

We will be in Las Vegas at one of the major hotels.....Ceasar's palace I think - not sure. Any ideas on how to cope?

My last business trip - I just decided to do water and fruit as salads are problematic - I'm picky about them and dressing. But I had a detox reaction and just barely made it through and was home and in bed for 2 days fasting, lol!

This trip I have to be at the top of my game for the most part. I need to avoid to much fasting - just in case I can't go into a bad detox.

What are your suggestions?

Thanks!

Find the closest place to buy produce and stock up. Bring food powders you can mix with water.
Bring pre-made food either that you made or others sell-bars, crackers, etc.
Have food/meals shipped to hotel.

If you don't feel comfortable bringing your own food to the table, eat before and after.

Agree with diamond, eat before or after the general mealtimes. If anyone asks, just answer something lik you're on a diet or somehting.
But if you're staying in a big hotel i'm sure theyll be able to fix you a salad, a plate of fruits or something like that.

I read "12 steps to raw foods" where they had this great tip about making a small buissiness-card sized card where you write somehting like "I eat only uncooked vegetables and fruits, it would be very nice of you if you could make me a salad, with things like (names of your fave vegs). Thank you for your creative effort!"
I'd make one of those and talk to the kitchen staff before going. They're useually helpful, and at a huge hotel like Caesar's i'm sure they've had funnier requsts than plain salads....

Good luck!
