So as I said in my re-introduction post, I'm giving this another go :)

I think it will be easier this time for a multitude of reasons. One is that I... quit smoking!!! YAY FOR MEEEEE!!! *does a little booty shaking dance* So I keep thinking if I quit smoking, I can do anything, LOL. Of course along with quitting smoking, I have gained SO MUCH weight  Like a very noticeable amount. It's depressing. My clothes don't fit well at all, and I hate it.

Another thing is that I'm sorry to say, my husband and I are separated for an undetermined amount of time. Long story. But I figure without him and his Twinkies and pizza and chips and all that garbage in the house, things will be a zillion times easier because this time I can do what Alissa says and actually pack up all the SAD food in the house and give it away/throw it away, and last time I tried I couldn't. I figure if I only have raw food in the house, then that's what I'll eat :p Today I plan on spring cleaning the kitchen, putting a bunch of stuff in the oven for storage (then if I have the want to use it, I won't, tee hee) and cleaning everything out, the pantry, the fridge, etc. Go buy a cheapo food processor (money is tight right now and I can get a better blender and food processor later) and a bunch of nice fresh food.

Getting to the point..... although I'm motivated at this point, I want to be MORE motivated. Tell me how fabulous you feel. Tell me your day to day motivation for eating raw and staying raw. I really want to do this...

Eating raw releases all the extra water weight from your body within just a few days, eating raw clears the skin and mind. Eating raw makes you feel peaceful in that you are giving your body the very very best! :D You are going to feel fabulous! I'm starting back again today too! It's a very exciting place to be! Go Raw!:D

Good for you for quitting smoking!

I am sorry that you and your husband are having problems. Honestly, though (and I know this sounds callous), it is seriously easier to eat right if you're just feeding yourself. I live and love my meat-eating husband and it is tough to live with that stuff in the house.

I'll be rooting for you!

Tell me your day to day motivation for eating raw and staying raw.
When I went raw I stopped increasing weight and started losing body fat. I saved my biggest pants and hung them on the back of the front room closet door. Now almost two years later I am slim and trim and feel like a new person. Whenever I need motivation I look at those huge pants and marvel at the changes that raw has brought into my life.

Halo effect, a friend said to me a couple weeks ago....this is profound......"YOU ALREADY HAVE EVERYTHING YOU NEED RIGHT IN THIS ROOM".

This room being, inside of you, in your life, in this forum, in your space. You have it and YOU CAN DO IT!!!!

It seems time for you now with this new situation. It might be easier to cave into self pity but that gets ugly real fast. Use it as a time to celebrate you and empower yourself in taking charge of your health.

Read n read here. The gift of raw is so profound that these words not even do justice to it at all.
