Went to a raw class today and was introduced to a neat spatula for getting sauces, etc. out of the Vitamax and it's also quite nice for spreading assorted mixtures on dehydrator sheets. Meet the Zyliss Silicone Spreader (http://www.zylissusa.com/ProductDetailY.asp?PDID=76&CategoryID=3) (aka peanut butter spatula). $8 list or $10 at Whole Foods.

Love the Spreader. I found them on amazon too. Maybe Bed Bath and Beyond carries them. They can withstand 500 degrees!! Not that I will heat my raw food up that high.
I will definetly buy a few for those jars at home the SAD eaters use.

Been there saw them cook an egg on the sidewalk. Ok don't let them go above RAW temp in the car LOL!!!

Cook an egg? That's child's play, you can make a solar oven out of cardboard and foil and roast large things in the summer here. Someone was telling me that she actually sun dries her tomatoes.
I've seen rear windows explode (not violently) on parked cars where the driver forgot to leave at least one window opened a bit to relieve the pressure. Pets and people have died in parked cars. :(
You quickly learn to park with the back of the car facing the sun and not the windshield. You learn new words after touching anything metal (like your seatbelt, the ring on the steering wheel where your keys go, etc.), steering wheels and leather/vinyl seats.
Okay, back to raw food. I have no idea what a date would taste like in a hot car here -- nor do I know anyone that would be willing to taste it. :) I can pretty much guarantee that any enzymes will have long ago left and caught an air conditioned bus elsewhere. :D

I have been looking for something that scrapes better than the tool that comes with the Vitamix. This looks great! How does it do getting stuff out from under the blades?

I move the blades out of the way.

When I bought my VM they sent me some of their spatulas, but they've gotten quite scraped up from the blades... They work fine, but look yucky.

Explain......Please,
I just use the spatula to move the blades as I move the food. They move freely enough...at least for my needs.
