I've ran out of my disposable dehydrator sheets and need to order some more. I had once ordered the all orange silicone sheets but never used them a 2nd time as everything was welded onto them and wasted.
I've heard the Paraflex sheets don't have this problem and I'd like to hear some comments from those of you who use them. Does food every stick to them? How easy are they to clean? Would you recommend them or should I stick with the disposable ones?
Thanks

They work great...nothing has ever stuck for me and I've used them 100's of times...they wash great....I run water in the sink, add a little dish soap..let them soak a few minutes, wash each one off with a dishcloth, ..rinse very well...stand them up in my dish board to drip dry, then dry with a towel...finish drying for a few minutes in dehydrator...I am going to get several more..I only have six and ten trays.

Same as GlimR....cept...on how we wash um....I just put some water in the sink...with a bit of cleaner/of choice. Then wash them, after the alloted time. :D
I have a D full tonight...and have already cleaned several of my texflexes with ease. Very easy to clean! Where I have ?'s is....some have....guess I could call um greasy spots.....from D'in ....portabello's...soaked in tamari and olive oil. Is that normal?
Anyway...they just pell right off easily!!!:D I love them!

Another vote for Paraflex sheets! I have 7 of them - but wish I had ordered 9, 1 for each tray.
I find them very easy to clean - I do not allow the food residue to dry on them though. And to dry them - I open my kitchen drawers, tuck the top of the Paraflex in the drawer and close it. They drape down over the front of the drawer. It's an easy way I can come up with to dry a bunch of them at once without resorting to (gasp!) hand drying with a towel! ;)
To store them, I keep them all stacked and rolled up like a big ci-gar in a quart Mason jar.
I love my Paraflex sheets and yes, I'd recommend them. *Ü*

I wondered how people were washing theirs. I wash the tray and screen first then I put the Paraflexx sheet on the screen with the tray below it. I wash them flat on the sink with a soapy brush. I flip them over and do the other side and then rinse them on the tray at an angle in the sink. I do both sides, hold them perpendicular to the floor and shake to dislodge the excess water and stick them in the dehydrator at 135 or so (unless there's food in it) to dry.
Some people put them in the dishwasher and said that works. They don't look as good (mine still look new) but they still work.
If ever something really gets stuck on one I'd soak it like I would a plate.

I'm lazy. After I peel them off whatever I'm drying (a very, very easy process, easier than with the disposable ones!), I lay them on the counter, and then wipe them off with a clean, damp dishcloth! Wa la, clean!
When I'm done dehydrating, I put them back on the trays for storage.
