New in Florida

Hey everyone,

My name is Teri, I am a sahm of a 12 yr. old and have a wonderful hubby.

I try (and fail) and try (and fail) to abide by a raw or mostly raw diet. I fall on my tail a lot too (kind of like lately!)!

I have always been hesitant to join some of the raw food sites out there because you are treated like the odd guy if you aren't 100% raw or if you struggle with it!

I am looking mostly to get to know others out there who follow a raw diet. I am also looking tips, pointers, ideas, encouragement, or whatever! ;)

I am trying to get myself back to 90-100% raw, but am really struggling lately! A friend of mine told me about the people here and about this board, so I figured I would check it all out!

Hi Teri
What part of Florida do you hail from. There is nothing wrong with being 80% or 90% and aiming higher. Stay with us a while and maybe at the start of next month you will feel ready to take to 30 day challange. There are about 20 of us doing it this month and it is great motivation

Teri, this is Teri, Glad you're here. You're the first trying to be raw person I've heard of in Jax. I met a young lady 4 years raw quite by accident last time I went to the Miami area. It was such a nice surprise. We'll eventually get a good little group here in FL. Look forward to hearing more from you.

Hey Rawadventures,

Glad to have you on board! I'm a RawFloridian myself, new to raw (6 wks) and new to this forum (2wks?) which has become my lifeline for the raw lifestyle. As the only raw person in my home, family, place of business and church I receive countless (though sincerely concerned) questions, the answers to which I generally find on this forum. I also invite people to stop by for a visit themselves--it helps to bring perspective. Enjoy the journey...and welcome!
