View Full Version : Headaches related to raw?

I have been raw now since the end of May - only a few slips here and there, and even then they weren't too horrible. Still, for the past couple of months I have been getting really bad headaches - at least one or two a week. I am not one to jump on the Tylenol when my head hurts, but this is really nagging at me. I have low blood sugar and can start to feel dizzy and get a headache if I forget to eat, but that usually goes away just after I eat something. These are not those kinds of headaches and they don't go away with food.
Any thoughts?
Thanks.

Anna,
after reading several books on raw, it is probably a sign of detox. Even doing it long term you can still go through periods of detox.
Maybe someone else with a little more knowledge will be able to help you more. :) Hope its just a short period of detox for you and it goes away quickly!!
Hugs,
Lisa

Are you drinking enough water? That would be my guess. If you are detoxing you will need more water to flush out your system faster. ;)

I did go through what I thought was a detox period during the first month - lots of stomach problems and head aches, but then it all went away. Now I am just getting the head aches. I do drink lots of water, but could always drink more.
Thanks!
