Good morning:

Breakfast: Piece of coconut, banana, appel.

The weather is not so nice for inline skating but I will go to the gym, instead :)

Well, today starts my vacation. This has been a wonderful experience doing this challenge with you all. You are a great group of people and have kept me Raw this entire month. I will not have access to a computer so this is the last time I'll be joining you this month.

I intend to stay Raw the remainder of the month and will return on June
7th. I have packed a few goodies and plan on feasting on salads, fruits, wraps and Atlanta has a great Raw foods restaurant that I shall purchase food from. I have also packed my personal blender so that I can make smoothies, soups and salad dressing. I have not told any of my friends or family that I am totally Raw now. They know that I am Raw, but I have been off and on with it for the past year and they do not know that I do not eat cooked food AT ALL any longer. We'll see how that goes.

Thanks again for keeping me honest.

Wishing you all continued success on your Raw journeys.

Blessings.

Good morning! Wow, day 22... I can't believe we've come this far, people! We're doing great!
I can imagine the amount of healing being shared amongst us is huge and wonderful!

Today is my day off, yet i woke up early to work with my theatre and stuff around it (booking venues for shows...phew...)
I still have a huge bunch of kai choy in the fridge that'll make its way into a smoothie later on..

B - soaked oat groats, sesame mylk, all sorts of seeds, rasins, apple
L - one date, then about 1 quart of GS: 2 bananas, blackberries and Kai Choy
D - Tomato soup with loads of lentil sprouts, banana and half an apple for dessert
S - cacao/sunflower/date-balls

Peace

Day 5 for me!

Springtime- how long do you soak your oat groats? I haven't been doing any grains, but it might be a nice change of pace.

B: GS with spinach, apple, banana
L: watermelon, banana
S: too many dates!

I put a bit less than 1/2 cup (1 decilitre) in 1 cup water over night, and they were soft, yet chewy for breakfast!
I useusally do the same thing with buckwheat, just soak (bc i always forget to sprout :o ). Tonight i'm doing quinoa though, we'll see how that turns out...

Then i drain it, chop up some fruit and add with all sorts of seeds (flax, pumpkin, psyllium, sunflower, sesame...) a few rasins and whatever mylk i have in the fridge. Yummee!

Sounds great, thanks! I will probably add small apple chunks, banana, raisins, and maybe a little cinnamon.

Had a good day yesterday. I went to a restaurant and did just great. It was cool that looking at all the bread did not bother me. I even had a friend keep begging me to try the bread and I really did not want it. Cool. Actually, most of the cooked food looked awful to me. About a week ago, I had about 5 bites of something cooked -cannot remember what). I woke up feeling like I had a hangover. I rarely have a drink so this was not a feeling I have had in years! It was from the food. That feeling has been a strong deterent for me when I see cooked food. I was so happy to be 100% raw from then on. The last 5-6 days have gone well.
Yesterday:
B- banana maca, cacao, almond smoothie
L- big salad at a restaurant
D- not hungry-just drank tea and water- I was out in the sun so I am dehydrated.
(Did have half of a beer- couldn't finish it. It was too filling.) Hehe- after I said that I rarely drink! That part is true- I have not had a drink in a month!

Ok, i am up early today and feeling much better yesterday i renewed my gym membership and will be using it more often 5-6 days a week and add raw, POW here comes Mrs RawFabulous lol lol. I am so psyched. Today i have a date with a movie {i will be providing my own raw snacks, Shhhh do not tell }, and a nice relaxing evening enjoying the sunset. I got some yummy fruits and veggies form the market and made a huge salad and mixed fruit bowl, this will be my lunch and dinner, of course i have to add a green smoothie for a nice treat.

Peace & Love
