View Full Version : Apple Broccoli Salad

5 Large Apples sliced with peel on
1 1/2 cup broccoli florets, chopped
1/2 cup raisins
1/2 cup pecans chopped
1/4 cup orange, juiced
2 teaspoons honey

1. Combine apple slices, orange juice, and honey in a sealable container Shake well.

2. Add remaining ingredients and toss.


I found this and it sounded good, so I thought I would share.

This does sound good. -- love anything with apples in it. Thanks for posting this!

I was just heading out to the kitchen to pack up a lunch and head out to a jobsite ... think I'll give it a try. Don't have any broccoli, but do have cauliflower, so I'll use that instead (although it won't be as colorful!).

I've made this up --
I substituted cauliflower for broccoli and walnuts for pecans
It's good

the only other change I would make is cutting the apple slices in half. Easier to spoon up that way!

This is really good! If I don't quit nibbling on it, I won't have any to put in my lunch!

Oh cool, will have to try it that way too. I thought maybe chopping the apple instead of slicing it..but halves would work good too.

yeah, well, I'm still sitting in front of my computer -- I didn't stop nibbling on it ... none left for my lunch! lol.

Yes, I think chopping the apple next time would work well.
