Would it be a good start to eat raw foods that I am craving? How do I know I'm getting enough nutrients or calories in my day?

For instance, today I ate a cooked breakfast of pasta with tomato sauce (and a small amount of cheese). I will no longer be eating non vegan foods. I feel a bit sluggish, like I don't want to do anything, but I find myself craving raw food today. Maybe it was that awesome lunch yesterday that was all raw, but I really want some raw food.

I'm craving grapes, peaches, cucumbers, and carrots. I might go up to the Fresh Market and grab these things. I'm also craving avacado, and I have that recipe for avacado soup, so I might make that. :) Just need to find the other ingredients (chipotle, lime, brown mizo, and olive oil.) Is mizo expensive? What exactly is it?

I think that if you are going to eat a cooked meal in the day then you should choose to have it in the evening instead of the morning.
If you are craving raw then be glad of it and eat as much of it as you want.

Miso is fermented soybeans. Not raw but alive. About 10 bux a container.

Put a few of those bananas that you got in to the freezer because icecream is a nice change of texture if you get a bit tired of fruit and veg.

I did. I'm going to stop by the store again and see if I can find raw cocoa. The only thing is I have regular soy milk. I don't have any raw milks. I would make my own but raw almonds and pecans are so expensive. Coconuts are $3 each. How much milk will a lb of each kind of nut make? What about coconuts? Can you make milk out of sunflower seeds? I have a little over a lb of those and I paid $3.50 for that.

Actually it's better to have the cooked food earlier not later in the day so it has plenty of time to digest. Your last meal should be light and raw.

I would think that that will slow down the passage of everything else and lead to fermentation.

I came to work today and was craving sugar so I got a cold chai and a pastry. The pastry is apparently vegan (i'm going to check in just a min). When I was halfway done with it I remembered I still had raw food in the fridge. I got out the blackberries, carrots, almonds, and dried apricots. Yum! I just finished off the blackberries, a handful of baby carrots, and a decent handful of raw almonds. I almost forgot I had half a pastry left!
