The last few weeks I was doing about 80% raw. Basically raw all day with green smoothies and fruit then a vegan cooked dinner with family. Was trying to trancend into 100% slowly. However one day I woke up with the room spinning. Then thought I was hungry so I made a green smoothie. The room won't stop spinning after that and I threw up all of it. Was weak and dizzy all day where I had to lay down. Problem in I have 3 kids at home and husband is out of state. I don't want to be sick while I have to take care of 3 kids and shuttle them here and there. I started eating a lot more cooked foods and felt better. Now I am ready again to go back eating more raw and really want to do 100% right now. Just scared that I may go through the same thing. Any ideas or suggestions? I don't eat nuts (daughter has nut allergy so I don't like to keep it at home) and no sprouting. Just simply greens and fruit. My blood pressure is also really low and always has been. I could also be anemic. Does anyone have similar experience? How should I approach my raw journey? Slowly or just jump into 100%?

I would take it slowly. If you feel good on 80% raw and 20% cooked vegan, then do that for a while, or at least until your husband gets back. I would increase the percentage of raw slowly. It's not a race, so just listen to your body. Being 80% raw does not mean you failed.:)

Sometimes the detox can knock you down, and that's tough when you are a caretaker of other.

Only you can answer if gradual or immediate is best for you. Even going slowly - some detox can come up. It's unpredictable a lot of the time, and varies by person.

Make sure you're allowing your body to detox other ways - exercise and get sweaty, saunas, epsom baths, gets the stuff out that raw food has released into the system.
