Greetings everyone. I just signed up today and wanted to introduce myself.
Since this board is all about food, eating and healthy lifestyle I thought I would let you know where I fit in these areas.
First, let me tell you what I am not at this moment.
I am not a vegan.
I am not a vegetarian.
I am no where near a 100% raw food eater nor do I believe I would want to be.
I am not close minded but examine all the evidence to reach conclusions.
So, why am I here? Well, let me tell you what I am.
I am one who strives to eat as healthy as I can and encourages others to do the same.
I am someone who wants to learn about health, nutrition and incorporate the best of what I learn into my life.
I am someone who loves food in all aspects - the nourishment, the culture, the enjoyment and the sharing.
I came here in part to learn as much as I can about the advantages/disadvantages of a 100% raw food diet. Whether I eventually choose that or not for my diet I am certain that I will find great inspiration in expanding my cooking repertoire and incorporating more healthy foods into my diet.
I look forward to scouring these boards and learning from you all.
