Good afternoon!

I had pineapple and melon for breakfast and coconut and passionfruit for lunch. I'm not sure what I'm going to make for dinner. I'm thinking about zucchini, shitake and wild herbs.

Yesterday was great, all about fruits and veg, in the afternoon i kept snacking and didn't have a "proper" meal, but that felt ok.
Apples, grapefruits, mangoes, asparagus, kiwis, banana,.....

But then came today... and well, let's just say i underestimated the amount of food i need. The fruits and veg i brought were all gone, bc i had them yesterday, so needless to say i had to turn to more conventional foods to get throught the day (spontaneous water fasting is not my thing...yet...)

So what i had today was..

B - Muesli w soy milk, tomato and cuke pieces, and an orange
L - Big salad with everthing from the cafeteria salad bar, plus bread (bc the salad was made to suit standard eaters)
S - Sanwich w veggies

I can totally feel the effects of having the bread. I've felt full in an uncomfortable way all day, and when i had the bread at lunch i could really feel how addictive it is! I just wanted more and more, i can't even say why, but it felt like a drug!
I've also felt sort of foggy, unfocused, very tired/sleepy and lightly nauseous the whole day. The scary thing is that this is very similar to how i used to feel after having a meal: tired, heavy, uncomfortable and unfocused. Brrr.... i don't think i'll go there any more. Just doesn't feel worth it.

Apart from the tiredness, nausea and general fogginess i'm feeling great, it's been really warm and sunny here, so my vita D should be going way up. And i got a note from the library saying the copies of Green for life and 12 steps to raw foods that i talked to them about ordering have arrived! I love libraries!

Great reads Springtime. You will enjoy them greatly.

Today I am feeling much better. For a couple of days anything I ate would give me an upset tummy and I was really getting concerned, but today that has not been the case. It is sunny and bright here and I'm loving this day and getting ready for vacation.

Had the most cravings yesterday. I went to the mall to buy clothes for my trip and walked past a Mrs. Fields cookie store. I did not really want it. Then I was thinking I would have chinese for dinner, but again said no and went home and had a strawberry/cocunut shake. It was really good.

Got discouraged when I was trying on clothes for the trip because I have not lost much weight ( 4 lbs after 3 weeks of 100% Raw). I had to buy a size 16 and at first I was bummed because before my last binge on cooked foods, I was a size 10. I found some really cute clothes in size 16 and was happy again and decided to love the journey. I will get back down to size 10 again, but in the meantime, It is important for me to learn to love myself exactly where I am!!!!!

B: Green Smoothie
L: Spanish rice, presto pasta
S: Fruit
D: Will probably skip because I will be getting home really late.

Blessings All.

Hello all!

Springtime- sorry you had to eat cooked food, but I'm so glad you're still here. I dropped off the board when I ate cooked food, and it took me 8 days to get back here and back to 100%. :( I think I would have done much better if I had just come back the next day and kept going.

B: GS with spinach, kale, banana, peach
S: watermelon
L: grapes, grapefruit
S: cantaloupe
D: ? I need to find a good dressing recipe so I can eat more salads. I tried apple cider vinegar with olive oil, but I really don't like the taste of apple cider vinegar. It seems to overpower everything. Any suggestions? I like sweet Asian dressings and poppyseed dressings.

Thanks!

Have a great rest of the day!

Since I could not get shitake mushrooms in my organic store, I bought chanterelle mushrooms. Eating them raw was really a new experience: They are supprisingly spicy. I liked them but the next time, I will not buy as many of them, I think they are really meant to be eaten with moderation.

Not as exhausted as yesterday, just hot from the weather glad there is a nice cool breeze in the air to help sooth some heat. today up early did not need the alarm to wake me:eek: (i keep it on just in case never know when i may over sleep)

I had a partial SAD day, i did not prepare a lunch so i grab a Tuna sandwhich from Subway, after i finished i had a yucky taste in my mouth:mad: and that released withing 20 minutes, i had a slight headache after. I know i am stubborn and a gluton for punishment:o I noticed that from the SAD temptations that my body is telling me NO i do not want that in me, get it out NOW, and poof there it goes lol lol.

My husband scolded me and seen my aftermath and began to prepare Thursdays lunch for me :D Lots of fruits and veggies and bottled water (he is such a dear) now if i can get him to transition to raw our home would be so Rawsome.

Peace & Love
