Has anyone ever order their Almonds or other nuts from them. This supplier was recommended by Sarma Melngailis owner of Pure Food & Wine, NYC

I found the prices for raw unpasterized Almonds and other raw seeds to be cheaper than any place else. So I was wondering if anybody orders from them & if you had a good experiance.

The company is good, but they do sometimes have things that aren't raw without noting it. So ask questions, especially about the almonds. Like I had gotten oats years ago from them and found out they weren't raw. Also once you add on shipping, it's not always as cheap as it seems. Though if you order enough products, it could work out well.

Same goes with most sites with shipping included. I usually go bulk to make it worthwhile. I did check your site but didn't see any almond listed

Wow -- great prices on the almonds! :) I think I'll actually put in an order with them in the next few days. I've been making a lot of almond milk all of the sudden, and I'm low on my supply. I simply can't justify paying more than $10 per pound for almonds when I go through so much!

I did check your site but didn't see any almond listed The one farm I was using ran out of the unpasteurized unfortunately. And other farms have been having trouble with getting fined for shipping them. Supposedly the law may be revised soon to make it easier. I just always ask them detailed questions because raw to us is always different than for everyone else. Even when I had asked them about the oats, they still gave the wrong info. But it's still basically a good company. I don't believe they were trying to lie, but just gave the wrong info. So that's great if they're truly raw. Need more people selling them less expensively.

I just got off the phone with Ruth at Jaffe Brothers (the physical store behind organicfruitsandnuts.com. They're shipping my almonds tomorrow.

They ARE NOT pasteurized, and their raw almonds from Italy have not been treated in any way. I had a lovely conversation with Ruth about how sad it is for them to be in CA and to not be able to sell raw almonds from CA. She actually brought it up in an effort to be forthright and make sure I know the almonds I'll be receiving were not locally grown, just in case I was hoping to get CA almonds.

I will be happy to order from this company again, I'm sure!
