I have a Champion Juicer, which works really well for everything except juicing my greens, like Kale, Spinach, and Romaine lettuce.
It overheats, and gets all caught up in the juicer.
Do you know of anything that would work better than a juicer to get the same nutrition benefits? I can't spend a lot of money since I just bought a Blend Tech Blender, and a Excalibur Dehydrator, plus a ton of other gadgets, and kitchen tools to start this Raw Lifestyle.
I wasn't sure if I was doing something wrong, or if the Champion was really made to juice the greens?
Thanks
Cathy

You can whir them up in your Blend Tec with enough water to get them moving, and then strain the result through a nut milk bag. :)

The Champion is NOT made to juice greens. It's a workhorse for really hard stuff like carrots, beets, etc., making "ice cream"... It overheats and oxidizes. Best best for using what you've got is what HG said.
