Hi Carly,
I've never done the Master Cleanse but from what I know about it, it's a sort of fast where you drink a certain amount of cleansing lemonade (made primarily of fresh lemons, maple syrup, and cayenne pepper) for something like 4-10 days. I've heard from people who have done it that it works great, if you can stick with it.
Here's a website I found a while back that discusses what the cleanse is and how to do it:
http://therawfoodsite.com/ (hope it's ok to post websites like this!)
There are others as well. You can do a search for Master Cleanse in Google and pull up information that way.
Hope that helps!

Do a search on this site (then banana at the top) and you will find loads of information. I know several people here have been on or are doing the MC right now, so there shouldn't be a problem finding stuff.
Or check out the Fasting forum here!

Hi, Carly. I did the Master Cleanse about a year ago...in short, it's a 10-day lemonade fast. You make the lemonade with fresh lemons (preferably organic), cayenne pepper, and maple syrup. You drink the lemonade throughout the day for a recommended minimum of 10 days. Oh, and you also clean out your digestive when starting. For this part I recall drinking senna tea (ouch!) and salt water (blech!). My experience with it was...pretty neutral. It wasn't terribly difficult to do, and I didn't notice any dramatic positive or negative results.
