you know we talk a LOT about what we fiend or crave after going raw. its the withdraws you know?
what are you shocked that you DO NOT crave?
me, im surprised i dont crave candy. or coke! oh my gosh i was a huge cola freak! my weakness is the breads and pastries i have found out. but im so surprised the chocloate etc. etc. and the soda is so not what i want! :)
i think its weird huh? we get SO fixated on what we crave! that we dont even think about what we arn't craving!

I just don't crave dairy at all. I don't even think about it. In fact i had to really think hard on this one, what I crave is a really good raw meal, if i get the craving for anything not raw, I make what im craving (but just a raw version of it, so i give into alot of cravings still, just raw though) I haven't made anything to replace dairy products, so i assume my body doesnt' want anything to do at all with dairy.

I don't crave anything, truly, I crave nothing!
It took me years to get to that position though. Was fun getting there!

Hmm... I'm really surprised that I don't crave chocolate. There are times when I want it, sure, but I don't have those overwhelming cravings for it that I had before raw. I can keep a jar of raw fudge sauce in the house for months now without a single thought whereas before, I couldn't keep chocolate in the house for a week without gorging on it.
I'm really surprised that I don't crave more than I do, to be honest. I really only tend to "crave" things when they're in my presence and I'm hungry. Actually, I don't really have random cravings at all but instead have started having "desires" for certain types or textures of food.
I'm slightly surprised that I don't crave sprite. I only ever drank it at restaurants though so it wasn't difficult to give up.

hummus and pita.
garlic stuffed green olives
i deeply apologize for this, but i see my dad eating beautifully marbled medium rare steaks frequently, and it does not discust me. sometimes it makes me salivate. i think it is the fat i am craving more than the flesh.
so yeah. i'm only a few months raw and sometimes i have cooked fat cravings.
Oh! Ooops! What DONT I crave. Read to quickly.
Anything in a foil or plastic wrap anymore. Bars and chips and snacky snacks. Don't crave Doritos, et al.
Don't crave big puffy cakes.
Nor ice cream. (AT ALL. Sounds very not at all my cup of thing.)
FAST FOOD. No longer a "food". No longer an "eatable".
Pastuerized juices. (Now that I have the real thing!)

I hardly have cravings for cooked at all anymore. I only crave raw foods.
But I'm very surprised that I don't crave grains or cooked starch. I used to be a bread/potato/pasta fiend. Now the thought of eating a starchy potato really grosses me out!

popcorn or ice cream!! I still have an opened case of popcorn sitting here and haven't had any for months - unbelieveable!!
Chocolate - that's a whole other story, I don't even like chocolate all that much but got some good expensive stuff from work and had it in my freezer. I thought it would last me a year or two but I kept dipping into it and I wouldn't eat just one, oh no not me, I had to eat it till I felt sick. I gave it to my neighbor last week as I really had had enough of that. I swear it really is a drug, why else would I eat something I don't even really like until I feel sick??

I generally don't crave foods. If I do, it is usually because my body is lacking something.

I am sooooo surpriesed that i have not had one single craving for BREAD, which was a true passion in my cooked life. I would bake everything myself and i loved sourdough... I mean, when i think about it feels appealing, but i haven't gotten that physical urge to eat bread.
