For no particular reason i decided to try to eat extra slowly = chew extra much when i had my lunch today.

That was probably the best thing i have ever done! I'm useually a super-quick eater, and when i've finished a meal i'm almost always hungry for more. But this was something completley different! It feels as if i've unlocked this huge secret of well-being!

When i ate i felt calm and i could really appreciate all the tastes. I felt satisfied and rather full before i'd even finished eating what was on my plate (chard leaves, mango pieces, avocado pieces, portabellos, red onion and buckwheat/sunflower "taco mince")! This never happens to me!

Even a little while after i've eaten i feel content and calm and serene.. I will never ever eat quickly ever again, slow eating and loads of chewing is the best thing that ever happend to food!

Peace

Yes, chewing is very important, it also produceses salvia which helps protect the teeth. After years of soft cooked food, people tend to unlearn chewing.

Yes! Chewing causes serotonin to be released in the brain, which makes you feel calm and happy. And it's super good for your digestion. Even when I make smoothies, I usually stir in some nuts or something afterwards to encourage me to chew my smoothies.

I feel blessed and so very happy to eat the way I do. So I chew it all so well and love every minute of it. Then get full very quickly too.
