Hi gang!
Hurt my back last Sunday, so haven't felt like sitting in this chair much till today.
I'm still hangin in there, day 45 for me. Its the middle of this month, so I thought I would weigh down 7 lbs this month so far, not as much as last month at this time...but I"ll take it, thats still almost 1/2 lb. per day! :D
Today will be:
1 liter lemon water @ rising
GS w/banana, apple, meat of a young coconut and collard
2 grapefruits
Huge salad w/carrot, celery, tomato, radish, napa cabbage, romaine with a few olives topped with Alissa's honey mustard dressing.
Hang in there!

:::::waving::::: I'm still here, too!!
I can't believe we're halfway there!! I haven't noticed any physical symptoms easing up yet, but I'm being patient. I think I'm eating too much lately as I would like to lose more weight. So far I've lost 5 pounds, but that was the first week. I'm trying not to complain, but I would like to drop some more weight. Maybe I'm eating a few too many nuts (I say as I pop some almonds into her mouth).
Today--
B- Green Smoothie
S-1 banana, 1 apple
L- Kale salad (kale, slivered almonds, olives, red peppers, cucs)
S-Carrot sticks
d- Not sure yet, but I'll likely eat a BIG salad!!

Hello All: Today I had my first cravings. Thought it would be nice to eat at one of my old favorites places since it is Friday and All, but I'm still here. I'm getting nervous about my vacation next friday and staying Raw.
I talked with my girlfriend and she said, I'll have some chicken wings and wine ready for you. I tried to tell her I was doing Raw exclusively now, but the tone in her voice said I don't believe you. So, needless to say, I am excited about going on vacation and seeing if I can remain Raw.
Today's menu:
B: Fruit, Carrot Juice
L: Pad Thai w/"peanut" sauce and salad
D: Strawberry/cashew/cocunut/vanilla bean/rejuvalac shake
Hpe you all have a great weekend.

hey y'all
I'm back in Georgia at my folks' house for summer vacation! today we had some company over and while they all ate chicken wings and rice and beans, I constructed the most beautiful salad. I even went out to the backyard and picked some sorrel (sourgrass), some rosemary, and a few jasmine blossoms to steep in my tea. One of my parents' friends was like, "How can you eat something you picked from outside where all the animals poop on it?" and I was like, "Where do you think your food comes from? Not out of the ground? And how do you know it's not covered in poop when you're not even the one who picks it?" Plus I'm way more scared about chemicals than I am about a little deer poop that may or may not be near my sorrel.
I'm lucky though; my parents are closet hippies, but they don't like to admit it. But they're totally supportive of my new eating habits. They even used to be vegans.
