Hello from California

Hi, my new raw food friends,

Something about me:

I am married to the raw green monster :D he keeps me honest, or at least tries to.
I have been Vegetarian, Vegan most of my adult life - which has been a long one.
I was turned on to the wonderful world of Raw about 2 years ago and was 100% raw and then due to a medical condition fell off the wagon so to say.

Now I am back with a commitment to myself to attain the 100% status back in my life as that is what works best for me.

I am a certified holistic nutritional consultant and herbalist with a degree in nutrition and a Reiki Master. I have completed the Level 1 Chef Certification - through Alissa Cohen's Living on Live Food Certification Program.

I am currently trying to finish my masters.
Don't ask me how old I am as I am not ready to confess but that over 50 fits.
I can tell you I am young at heart and looking to the benefits of raw for the rest of my life.

So my commitment to myself just for today as it is in this moment as I believe that everything changes and ends and things do not always go according to plan.

Leona Valley is inland from Santa Clarita.

Rural area known for its cherry trees, apple orchards, and wine vineyard.

I could also list a host of creatures that roam our property of 4+ acres.
My favorites the snakes. Just kidding. But I do know they hate being hit by water from water guns, my big defense against them :rolleyes:

Hello Everyone, :)
Sorry, I have been out of town. Went to Denver over the weekend.
I found this wonderful place in Boulder - The Tonic Oxygen Bar.
They have everything from oxygen session, smartinis,tinctures, Chakra Elixirs and RAW FOOD to purchase.
I had a great tasting Chakra Elixir for the throat Chakra.

So I am back and ready to get back to the basics here with raw food talk.

I am attending a raw food pot luck dinner this friday.
I plan on making a raw strawberry pie and maybe some sort of dip to bring.

Wish you were all here to join me.
