Hello! Just wanted to say hi, I'm new to the Raw world and I'm enjoying it. I have never felt better :).
This is my 10th day of being Raw and this is what i've noticed:
1. Acid reflux...gone.
2. Weight loss...check!
3. Got my hubby to join me...check!
4. My acne...gone!
5. Relearning how to cook...enjoying it!
I would love to meet raw foodists in the Seattle area to keep me motivated, feel free to send me a message.
Cheers!
Michelle

Welcome Michelle. Those benefits alone are great motivation. Meetup.com may have raw groups in your area.

Hi! I'm in Seattle too!
There are lots of great places here.
Raw Vegan Source in Redmond is like a raw superstore - they have everything!
Madison Market on Capitol Hill has a pretty big raw section.
Thrive & Chaco Canyon are two restaurants that have raw menus.
Cafe Flora is a vegetarian restaurant that will prepare raw stuff if you call them ahead of time.
Nature's Pantry in Bellevue has a ton of raw stuff.
there are meet up groups all over the city
plus the Raw Network of Washington has potlucks and guest speaker events.

Hello and welcome from a former Tums by the case user. Acid reflux caused me to have swallowing problems. Med was worse than the acid reflux so I switched to Tums and was chewing 4-8 a day and waking in the middle of the night needing one or two. Haven't needed one since I started raw a few months ago.
Nice benefits, but #5. Relearning how to cook...enjoying it! may need some editing. Maybe, Learning how to not cook...enjoying it! :)
