So, for the last couple years, I have been teaching uncooking 101 classes to 1 or 2 people at a time. But, I have felt recently that it is time for me to go for a full launch and really share raw with more people.
About 48 hours ago, I booked up a venue for an extra night (I already have a program planned for 5 days in June at the same place) thinking it would be good to have a preview in advance to make sure the location will comfortably fit however many people sign up.
I have already been crazy busy planning for the 5-week event, so I only needed to spend 24 hours coming up with just the right menu and details.
So, last night I sent out a few emails and talked to some people I thought might be interested. I have about TWENTY VERY interested people who have already RSVP'd.
So exciting! A mother and daughter who don't eat a lot of fruits and veggies but keep hearing how excited I am about my blossoming business and raw food. A husband and wife with 3 kids, one of whom has medical problems that have improved with a gluten-free, casein-free diet they JUST started. A yoga teacher who is raw and 1-2 people she knows that are "raw-curious". Some folks who are raw, and some who aren't.
By God, people need this! I cannot wait to hold this event and share it with others. The focus is on REALLY EASY food, Mexican theme. Yummy!

(I don't think he even does affiliate stuff -- just letting you know I don't get anything out of sharing!), Russell James has an AWESOME e-book Mexican Raw Recipes (http://www.therawchef.com/products/89-the-raw-chefs-recipe-series-mexican.html) that I am getting some of the recipes from. Amazing! Have a look if you're interested in something like that. :) (Drink, desserts, all sorts of beautiful pictures, and it's professionally done, LOVE IT!)
