Hey everyone,
I got a Green Star about 4-5 years ago and was probably the best thing i ever bought. Lately, I've noticed the 'nose' of it seems to be bobbing up and down alot when its working (it subsides when nothing is passing through). I believe it was perfectly still before this. I was wondering does anyone else have this problem.

My first inclination where the twin gears being worn and maybe the white, plastic parts are but its hard to tell. I ensure they are inserted correctly each time.
Any ideas?

Thanks

This is probably a silly suggestion but could one of the little black legs have gone missing.

My Green Star is only 5 months old and it definitely doesn't do that, but if it were to start, I would contact Tribest and ask them what they thought that meant.
Hope your baby is OK. :)

haha :D ye i dont like seeing my baby like this!

Its definitely not the legs on it, its perfectly stable.

I was looking at it closely today when using it. When i turn it on its almost ok, very, very small 'bobbing' (for want of a better word).
When i put some carrots through it or something tough it is very noticable that whole snout is going up and down. Its almost like one gear is bigger than the other and as the gear moves around it causes the problem.

Yes thanks HolyGuacamole, It should of been the first thing I did in contacting Tribest, never thought to do it :o

Thanks for the replies guys:)
