That's funny.. maybe you're eating too quickly? I only burp when i'm stressed out and throw foods into my mouth.

Are you eating with your mouth open? When we were taking care of my sister-in-law I couldn't understand why she constantly burped while she ate. Then I realized that she was also smacking her lips and chewing loudly, like a very old person sometimes does. She wasn't chewing her food well and she was letting in lots of air. I told her to "stop eating like an old lady" and her burping stopped, too.
Tip: If you're eating with her mouth open because your nose is stuffed up, take smaller bites!

Burping does not necessarily mean you have swallowed air, it can also occure when gases are produced in your stomack. Maybe you eat something you are intollerant to.

If it's happening with everything you eat, including water, then I suspect it is air swallowing, not burping.
