I've been addicted to this drink forever and I want to stop drinking it. Can you think of an alternative drink that would taste similar and be low in calories?
Also, since artificial sweeteners are toxic, do you think they can make you fat?

water with some lemon squeezed in it, and a few drops of stevia (or whatever sweetener you prefer!) I suppose you could use any citrus fruit, or even juice another kind of fruit if you have a juicer.....

absolutely! Dr. Mercola states that since artificial sweeteners are zero calorie, your body makes up for it by having extra food throughout the rest of the day!

I've never heard of stevia. Can I get that at the coop?

I buy it at any grocery store, I get the NuNaturals brand alcohol free, it comes in a little jar with a dropper.....careful, it is like 1000 times sweeter than sugar, so you only need a few drops.... and it is an herbal extract (that happens to be calorie free!)

Water, lemon juice and stevia = very good. Even as a warm drink in the winter.
