strawberry pie recipe

Hi,
I am fairly new to the board, so this may have already been answered somewhere. I was planning on making the strawberry pie on page 522 of Alissa's book, but there is a discrepancy in the amount of strawberries for the filling part. In the ingredients, it says 3 1/2 cups, but in the preparation, it only totals 2 1/2 cups. Can someone tell me which is correct? Thanks.:confused:

Yea, I saw that too... I think that the "3 Cups" is a type-o error..., but I could be wrong...

I went ahead and made it with 1/2 cup set aside and 2 cups of Strawberries with the bananas because it said "remaining 2" cups add to the bananas. It was high enough for me. I think if I had added 3 cups it would have overflowed from the crust.

Also, I did put mine in the Freezer because it didn't seem to harden enough for me in the frig., and it was good.

Thanks, ReneeH--I also would more assume 2 instead of 3, but it's nice to know someone has tried it. Does anyone else have a different take on this, or any modification to it?
