Does anyone have a good recipe for a V8 style drink? I find myself craving it often.

While fasting, I made a juice that was similar enough in flavor to supoort my V-8 addicition:

4 tomatoes
1 stalk celery
1 onion
1 jalepeno pepper
4 carrots
1 cucumber
1 lemon
2 sections of a garlic clove - OMG  it makes the difference
1 bell pepper (green) - It was my choice, no matter what anyone says about them!
generous pinch of Celtic Salt

I juiced the carrots, cucumber, celery, onion and garlic, and put that and the remaining ingredients in the vita mixer.

Hope this helps

Yes, I thought about juicing what was in a cooked V8. I just wasn't sure if it's possible to juice tomatoes or do I use the whole thing.

The recipes helps. Just one question, how on earth does one juice garlic? LOL

Oh it'll juice. I mean, you won't get a glassful out of it (LOL) but trust me. I made a concoction for my son once a couple of years ago by juicing apples and something else and garlic for a cold he had. It was VERY garlicky...so much so that it made him gag!

If nothing else, juicing a garlic clove will expell the oil from the garlic into the rest of the juice. And yes, you can run tomatoes through the juicer or if you want a thicker juice, you can juice everything else and blend the tomato in the blender and then add the rest of the ingredients and blend til smooth.
