Fasting has been on my mind for months. Two weeks ago or so I read about fasting for healing. This particular method really emphasized total rest during the water fast. Total rest is not something I can do so I didn't get any farther than reading about fasting.
So then I get a little sick and think, "I should fast and I'll get over this quicker." But I don't. Two more days go by and Wham! I'm sick. Brought up Sunday morning all the wonderful raw food I'd eaten the day before. Spent most of the day laying down sipping on water.
And this morning? I felt great (still do!) and looked great (still do!). The difference in my face is amazing, and I had to tighten my belt today.
So what I'm wondering is, is there such a thing as water fasting two days of every week? Or would that be defeating the purpose since I won't get the benefits that come with a long fast?
I'm mostly interested in fasting for weightloss. When I first went raw the weight flowed off, but I've been at the same weight for months now.
Thank you! : )
