To those of you who suffer or have suffered from chronic pain, I have a question.

How long after you cheat, does the pain increase or return? While the food is still in your mouth or the next day, if ever?

Since I started eating raw on April 20, I have not cheated, but when I use to eat healthy, and grain free, and then cheated, it would always show up during the night for me. I can't stand the pain and inflammation, if your in pain, I pray you feel better soon!!!

Well I am not 100% raw so I guess I cheat all the time, lol! But within 2 weeks of giving up grains and meat and sugar my chronic pain disappeared and hasn't come back yet but I haven't had any meat since then and very little sugar or grains and tons of fruit and veggies and green smoothies.
I know it was 2 weeks because I was going to quit my job on December 31st because the pain was so bad I just couldn't do it anymore but by the time the 31st came - my pain was gone and I had been taking Percocet for a number of years!

I would also say about a couple of houres to up to 1-2 days, depending.
A quick solution I have found works for me is to eat barleygrass powder or somthing like it (wheatgrass or other green powders) when I start to get pain. Oh juicy fruits and a lot of water ;) works almost everythime.

I have never "cheated". Not sure what cheating is in raw life because for me there is no such thing. Cheating has a bad connotation it seems and might set me up for negativity towards myself. Not what I want to draw towards at all. I focus on all the living foods I partake of.

So I do not "cheat, slip, messup, be stupid, fall off the wagon", none of that.

Words I use, resonate into my body and my body responds. Words are powerful for me and I am careful what ones I utter. So I say "I am well, I am healthy, I am being in all good things that produces glorious health, and all I eat my body uses to carry that out and I am grateful for this process and where it is taking me".

My pain all went away when I went raw. Sometimes it shows itself as deeper tissue issues(poetry?) come to surface. But it does not stay long.

I might eat a not raw food and experience something. yet as soon as I eat greens or drink a green juice or smoothie, it pretty much stabilizes. I honor that food(non raw) as part of the process of my raw life and picture it carrying me to a state of raw health.

Most pain works its way out.
