At first glance this morning there was nothing for breakfast anywhere in sight and only a long hungry day at work ahead of me. I was so close to grabbing a bagel. But with a little effort (and I really mean LITTLE) I had myself a healthy, filling, and quite pretty breakfast. I layered chopped walnuts, goji berries, blueberries, cashews, and dried cranberries in a wide mouth glass jar and I was out the door in no time, breakfast in tow! DELICIOUS.

Good morning Ms. Colorawdo!! Your breakfast looks incredible! One thing I love about raw is how excited I get about food now! SAD food never made me this happy. Now I feel like food is a hobby because I have so much fun making it and eating it!

Yes food became a fun part of life instead of a body function . Getting out of the thought and into our heart. How cool? Happy day to you. Oh and I will be on to some glorious fruit soon here. The sprouts are just the beginning!!

Coconut chai from Bonobos. Taste like chai tea but in a creamy base of raw coconut creme. Out of this world wonderful !!! Best five bux I spent yesterday.

Is that coconut chai really raw? It's illegal almost everywhere to sell raw beverages and would probably only keep for about 1-3 days refrigerated if truely raw.

Sounds yummy!
I was stuck fro breakfast myself (didn't shop yesterday) Then I figured hey I could put romaine lettuce in my smoothie instead of spinach.
Ate a pear and went and shopped.

here's something i enjoy when i'm eating:
steel cut oats with agave, banana and any dried fruit you may want (like cranberries and raisins for example) mix it all up... and don't forget to add water to get a nice consistency. if you've soaked the steel cut oats beforehand... even better!
flax crackers with raw almond butter and sliced bananas. mmmm so yummy.

I don't follow "rules" either and am only about 75% raw, I was just curious to know if the coconut drink was really raw.
