I posted a question a few days ago about raw goat's milk and dairy in general, I really appreciate everyone's responses. I decided to do an experiment on myself to see what would happen. So today is my 3rd day with no goat's milk at all. Previously I have been 99% raw with probably about 6-8 oz. of my own raw goat's milk daily.
Well, the thing I'm noticing last night and today is that my body odor has come back! It went away shortly after I started eating raw, but I guess I'm detoxing from the dairy, because I'm definitely stinkier than I was the other day.
I haven't noticed anything else yet, but I'm hoping to continue this experiment for at least a couple of weeks unless I decide to quit the dairy altogether, I'm still trying to decide on that.

Good on you gfmother! You obviously have a very open mind. :D
I'd love to hear how it goes, keep us updated.
Part of my detox was getting stinkier too, though I'd been a cooked vegan for years before, so it was probably something else besides the dairy. After the stinky session, I got a lot less stinky (pretty much non stinky), but then everyone else got really stinky to me! I can now tell if someone had a night out and drank lots, if they eat lots of meat or dairy, if they eat lots of fried foods or if they are sick just from their smell!

QFMother,
I'm also doing a raw dairy withdrawal experiment. I got an ear infection one yr ago, and since then have had some vertigo and it sounds like liquid slushing around in my left ear.
I love my raw dairy! But I'm wondering if it and sweeteners/especially when combined aren't contributing to it, so I'm eliminating the raw milk. I'll have tiny bits of other raw dairy though: kefir, tiny tastes of cheese....and we'll see what happens. .
Sigh, I'll be anxious to hear what you figure out. I have not noticed anything in the b.o. dept.
But when I do notice it, I have figured it's because I stopped taking my ionic water-soluble zinc. When I add that, my bo tends to diminish. But if you add it, it may add a variable in your scientific experiment!
Thanks for sharing.

Whenever I had dairy after going raw, instant stinko.....body odor ,gas and bm stink.Stomach distress...etc.
Lost all my friends....hahahahaha until I got them clothespins for their noses...then decided it was easier to leave dairy alone and keep my friends. Now we all breathe a whole lot easier:)

I agree,
My previous posts sometimes I reccomend raw high quality grass fed dairy. cow and goats
But i stopped using it and I never will again because it makes you stink badly, gives you bad breath, isn't even that nutritous, doesn't always taste great, and it clogs you up and gives you a runny nose,
so raw dairy is a no no
If you crave something but you dont know what your craving, eat cooked vegan food, like a tea, or hot chocolate, like a mixture of carob and maca and purple corn in hot water with a sweetener, which is a good drink in winter. Its not raw but who cares ? You're still getting nutrition.
the most important thing is staying vegan

Twice now since going raw I experimented with eating raw goat's milk products. And they really couldn't have been better quality- grass fed, happy goats and then the milk was fermented.
Well, I got weird milky brain. I think it really works for some people but I felt strangely gummy. I know someone who truly experienced healing miracles from including fermented raw goat's milk in her diet. I kinda wonder if I have leaky gut? But I'm glad I experimented. I don't take other people's word for it. :o

That's an interesting point fuggles....
Raw Vegan....
Which is MOST important???
Anyone know of any of those raw fooders who eat raw meat? Primal diet I think it might be called?
How is that lot doing - health wise?

Let's NOT even go there (or it will be deleted). You can private e-mail each other, but don't post it here...

Actually this entire thread should be deleted as we don't discuss or advocate any raw dairy either. I will leave it, close it and allow it to be here for people to learn from in the future.
in light,
Aleesha
