Hello Friends,

I am extremely grateful and excited to share that I am coming into the evening of Day 5 of my first water fast...yaaaaayyy!...and I'm curious about not having any really dramatic detox going on...yet. I intend for this to be a 21-day fast. I, of course, have been hungry alot these past few days and experienced slight headaches and general fatigue. The most noticeable challenge so far is that my sleep routine is way off.

Anyone have a similar experience? I've read alot on fasting here on RFT and I continue to wonder if the next several days will start to shift me into major detox, or if it's possible that this experience won't be all that dramatic?

Previous to the fast, I had been on and off raw

I know that I am doing an incredibly healing thing for myself, regardless.

Thanks!

sounds to me like you are feeling detox... enjoy it while it's presenting itself in a way that seems so manageable for ya (((hugs)))

How long have you been doing raw food prior to your water fast?

I hope you get all the support you need during that time.

Enjoy you water fast!

I know, I know...sixteen mooore days....right now it's "ok".....*waiting, waiting...* :p

RAM, I have been off/on raw since Nov '07.

I appreciate all of your responses!

And now I will go brush my teeth to try to diminish this horrible metallic taste in my mouth. Yay!
