Hi friends,

I checked out a new raw food place in my area called, "The greenery," and they had this delicious sweet potato bread that they used for their, "cheese sandwich." Since I couldn't find the recipe, I threw together something and came up with this basic one. They are really good. Enjoy!!

1-med to large sweet potato (blend first in food processor, then add additional ingredients)
1 cup of ground flax
squirt of agave or dollop of raw organic honey (optional)
dash of water if necessary for desired consistency

spread over entire teflex sheet (should cover 1 sheet)

Dehydrate 110 degrees for 4 hours
flip when it can peel off sheet and dehyrate till desired softness.

Ooh! Sounds delicious! I made my first batch of raw bread recently and really didn't like it..I think the flax seeds may have been bad. I'll have to try this one- after I buy some new flax! Thanks for sharing!

solarliving, you must live near me. I have been thinking to try that restaurant for the last month. Nice to hear that it's good. I'll have to get there soon.

Don't own a dehydrator (yet!) but have copied your recipe for when I do. Thanks!
