I've recently become aware of how much gunk our skin can absorb, and I'm a little worried because we all spend time in the bath or shower each day, and that water isn't filtered....
So do any of you already use a shower head filter? If so, what brand, what price, and are you satisfied with it?

I like the Sprite filter.

We have them, and tub filters to boot for baths. I take baths. I fill the tub through the shower head LOL and then use the tub filter too. :D
I just got the ones for sale at Whole Foods and buy replacement cartridges online. Ours specify they remove (among other things) chloramines, which not all do and is important to me.

I was looking at some on greennest.com, but I'll check amazon - they usually have awesome deals! Problem is, I share the shower with 5 family members - one of whom is anti healthy ANYTHING - if I proposed putting one in the shower I'd probably get a negative response. Oh well, I'll try.

Get the one for under $30 and tell them it's for the 5 massage heads. They don't need to know about the 99 percent chlorine elimination.

I used to have one. I liked it a lot. Took a bath one day and forgot to run it through the shower filter and wondered for a minute why my bath stunk of chlorine so bad. Now we're on well water and I don't use one.

Thank you guys SO much! I'm slowly trying to implement these organic and eco-friendly things into my lifestyle. Next to go is the shower curtains....

O.k., Himself just remembered we'd purchased some shower filters for the last place we lived. They didn't fit the old house as the fittings were so old. This house is fairly old but been totally refinished. He actually found them in the garage and now, we have a shower filter!!!! (Been living here a YEAR and not remember those!)

I want to get one for the kitchen sink still. We've got one for the sink to the fridge but not the sink itself.

Oh! It's an Aquasana. ^5's ms. Lucy. :)

I have an Aquasana for the shower & I LOVE it! The cool thing was, I knew EXACTLY when it was time to replace the filter, because all of a sudden, my shower spewed the smell of chorine all over me! My lil' guy with autism started taking a shower in our bathroom as soon as we got it, and then the other two followed. Now to get one for their shower as well so we can reclaim our bathroom!:p
