How do you know if Wheat Grain or wheatberries and if they are hard or soft?

I am new to sprouting things and have a 5kg bag labeled just 'wheatgrain'
eeek what the heck is it?

I think its wheatberries??? but are they soft or hard....have no idea! any help much appreciated!!!

- soft wheat berries

- hard wheat berries

* youll then notice the soft are lighter and plumper than the darker and thinner hard wheat . hard wheat is a dark brown seed , soft a lighter / tanner color
