Red Palm Oil for DH's cooking

I've been using olive oil when cooking for DH. I know coconut oil is better but he doesn't like his food tasting like coconut. I've read that red palm oil's qualities are similar to coconut oil's, although it's note quite as good. Anyone have any experience with the taste of it?

You can buy refined Coconut oil or refined Palm oil that are tasteless and ordorless. They have almost the same health benefit as the unrefined ones. The refined palm oil will not have a redish color because the vitamin e is removed during the refining process. I use both when i cook for my family.

with palm oil there are environmental issues, like deforrestation in Indonesia and loss of habitat for Orang Utangs
