Hi Everyone,

I'm finally a member, after reading your posts for so long! I'm really interested in raw, and love Alissa's book. I'm a grad student researching the factors that contribute to walkable communities (we need more of 'em!), and an avid walker, too.
I'm beginning to feel like I've woken up from "the Matrix" and finally see the truth - that the rest of the eaters out there are still plugged into this insidious food system that keeps them addicted and unhealthy. This site, and the raw community, feels to me like "Zion" - the "real world" that needs nourishing and celebrating.

I celebrate you all!

Blessings,
ewatrmln

Sorry, Rawkinlocs!

I guess this posting was meant to be more of a general "about me."
I'll move this posting to the questions section.

You're at the right place. I am So Happy you have waken up and now know the TRUTH. The World wants us addicted to something and the easiest and cheapist is food, which we need some form daily.

I wish you everything you need to Stay RAW........Welcome to MY World.

Walking communities, so neat. Our country is certainly not designed that way. I am 15 miles from everything!
I am still very addicted to cooked. I fight it everyday.

Welcome Ewatrmln. I love walking too. My main concern is safety, which is why I stick within my apt complex. Would be great to live in a small community where you can walk everywhere.
