started to post before but it turned into a novel!
over a decade ago i was ovo/lacto veg for 5 years. then marriage and baby. hubby wasn't veg and didn't want to be. (Still doesn't:p) anyway, after caving in and eating "his" way instead of taking care of myself, i had put on an extra 100+ lbs. i hadn't wanted to see it, so i stuck my head in the sand and avoided cameras;). in august 2007 a book caught my eye and i started dabbling in a mostly raw diet. that october the fires hit so. cal. and my emotions went haywire, even though i was lucky and didn't lose family, friends or home. after that my eating spiraled completely out of control and the 33 lbs i had lost... i found again:eek:. so... on february 2nd 2009 i jumped into raw with all i was worth. i guess i'm about 95 to 98% raw, wanting to be 100%.
well, this is starting to get too long so i'll close with thank you. it is nice to see all the support for others.
