I made a huge mistake yesterday. Huge. I went to the store to get some greens so I could switch up my greens a bit. I've been on a spinach kick - I loooove spinach, but I read the post about not overdoing it on one type of greens, to rotate them. ANYway, I thought I was grabbing a bag of greens....collard? maybe? I put it down, wandered around a little, went back and *thought* I had picked up the same kind again. Got home, juiced my last 3 carrots, used my last two bananas, and put them into the blender with my new greens - looked great! I was hungry so was looking forward to a smoothie. Took my first sip....and I nearly hurled in the sink! WTHeck is THIS? I said outloud! I quickly opened my fridge to read the package - only to discover I had bought a bag of MUSTARD greens. Oh that was awful!!! I will make sure to ALWAYS check the bag before I put it in the cart! blech :p

You can always save your batch by adding more ingredients. Like using half of your mixture, adding more juice and other Fruits. Mustards have a little bite.

well I guess I'm a wimp because I couldn't get past the taste - on top of the fact that it actually gave me a bad stomach ache - felt like my stomach was burning up. Horrible, blech.

The only green smoothie I was not able to finish was made with mustard greens. That's a mistake you only have to make once. Sorry you wasted your other ingredients.
