I heard that one month raw shaves off one year sad? Do you believe this?

hmmm
it can immediately eliminate a lot of problems, like different pains, energy levels, acne, menstrual problems. ..but these things are not linear in damage, like it's not like you travel down the road of acne and it gets worse and worse the longer you're on SAD, it tends to stay about the same amount, like a chronic problem that never gets worse, but never gets better.
If you're talking about anything else that Does get worse over time, I would say that's very individual to the person, the ailment, the SAD diet, the RAW diet, and any number of other things.
Does that help?

I suppose it varies person to person. Factors like what type of SAD diet is consumed and what type of raw diet is consumed plays a major role. Needless to say, I feel wonderful after a month fully raw.
I've always heard it takes a month raw for every year you've lived SAD, to totally detox. If I'm not mistaken, David Wolfe says that? Not sure it's scientific but it sounds good.
But you feel so much better day after day, you feel new anyway. :D

If this statement, give or take a few days, is accurate than I'm so thankful for how genius the body is. I would just have to get through 18 months 100% raw. ;)

I bet it depends on how dense you eat and if you binge or starve yourself (b/c then the body has to deal with this). I imagine if you do it while being in tune with your body it makes it more accurate.

I think David Wolfe says this....but for me going raw is to heal my body and to continue for the rest of my life. I really don't think you stay raw to feel better and go off to SAD this is just like yoyo dieting....not good for your body.

I've read that most people won't be completely detoxed for the first year or two depending what they eat. If you do fruits, salads and green smoothies it will happen a lot faster, but if you're doing heavy nuts, avocado and oils that really bogs down your digestion and energy is spent processing food instead of cleansing.

That is in David Wolfe's book(s). It is a guideline for what to expect. If you start a raw lifestyle at 30 years old, then you can reasonably expect the affects of 30 years of SAD to be cleansed in 30 months.
David also writes that 98% of the cells in our body are replaced every 2 years. It takes 7 years to replace the last 2%.
After 7 years of a nutrient rich raw diet 100% of the cells in your body will have been replaced by a healthy cell that was produced with raw nutrition.

It certainly is a good idea to mull over that it's going to take some considerable time to heal from the SAD diet with raw.
