View Full Version : I did a liver cleanse and I still can't believe what came out of me

Hey guys, I just finished a liver cleanse which I started last night after work. I'm really shocked at what came out. I passed nearly 150 extremely dark green "stones" and I don't know what to say. It was uncomfortable to sleep last night, but I just went to the bathroom about 5 times, and each time, I found 30 or so green stones ranging in size from a grain of rice to the width of a nickel. I feel better now after all that, but as I'm typing, I'm still not sure I'm done passing them.
PS, I'm not going to post pictures of what came out, but if you look online for what I'm talking about, you'll see what I mean.
Anybody else do this and found what I found?

Wow! I would say your liver cleanse is a hit. I only surfaced 10 teeny tiny green stones and I'm not even sure they were stones. Your liver must be singing right now. Congratulations.

I did Alissa's liver cleanse found on this very forum.
http://www.rawfoodtalk.com/showthread.php?p=255204#post255204
I don't know how to explain this but throughout the entire day today, I've felt like I can actually breathe better, and I feel more calm and collected as well.
According to the curezone forums, you should keep doing this ever 1-2 weeks until you produce no more stones, and I think I'll be doing just that next week!

I followed it to a T, and my results were similar to RawHeavens...glad to hear about your results, so no longer doubting the hype!!

Reading about the stuff that could be in my liver makes me feel sick! I can't imagine how much it can be interfering with my health... But I am wondering about the cleanse, half a cup of oil? Isn't that a lot? And for those of you who completed it, did you find it easy/hard?

I have done the liver cleanse five times or so.
Always got lots of stones out. I believe, other than colon cleansing(and eating raw), it is one of the most profound things one can do for ones health, helping the liver do its job much more effectively.

Just to make this clear, it's not supposed to be "healthy", this is a flush that will enter and leave your system in a matter of hours, and it will not negatively affect you in the least as long as you're doing them 1-2 weeks apart.
This is NOT, I repeat, NOT something you do for the rest of your life, this is a way to purge your liver of it's impurities in a matter of weeks. It's perfectly safe, but it must never become a lifestyle. That's what eating raw is for.

It actually wasn't difficult at all. The only "hard" part is taking the epsom salt, which tasted awful, but other than taste, it's fine. The other part that is weird is that when you take the oil mixture and go to sleep, your abdomen feels warmer than usual and if you don't fall asleep, you can feel the stones moving around like marbles inside you after about an hour of going to bed. It's a weird experience, but it's not painful at all.

I was scared of doing this one is the salt and amount of oil that you take but also, i thought that it was coming from your urinary tube. Are you saying that those stone come out from the colon?
I wonder if it has to be epson salt and if we could use sea salt instead?
Congratulation!

Yes, it has to be epsom salt because it's not really salt, it's magnesium sulfate.
No, the stones come out of your liver.
I did the parasite cleanse first but not the kidney one because the parasite one was absolutely essential prior to the liver cleanse.

I am really interested in doing these cleanses Gaius. Please would you be kind enough to direct me to where on Alissa's site I can get these three cleanses? Or are they in her book? Thank you so much.

The important one to do before the liver cleanse is the parasite cleanse. It will ensure that any bugs you have in your system are flushed out before you remove the stones. The kidney cleanse isn't as essential and you only need to eat raw to cleanse your kidneys.

I'm doing the cleanse Alissa posted. I was wondering how much it affects you if you don't use warm water with the lemon and olive oil? Will it still work if I only do the lemon/olive oil thing for two days before the epsom salt day? thanks!!

For me, doing the flush exactly as the directions say produces the best "harvest'.

You can also use lemon juice instead of grapefruit, according to the curezone forum. Some people prefer the taste, and it works just as well.

that is one heck of a lot of epsom salt to be taking!!!! it's a laxative!
i'm confused.. is she saying to take 4 tbl from 1-6th day?
the last time i had food posioning i was pretty ill. MAJOR cramps and took everything in me to keep from vomiting. i couldn't crap, only pee. but my intuition told me to try some epsom salt to be able to dump the loads. (pardon my expression). i only took half a teaspoon because i didn't want to keep going and going... ironicaly it worked and took the posion out of my body!!! i suffered for about 20 hours until i did this. and well... i had to take about 15 trips to the toliet.
SO!!!! can you see my concerns here taking over a pound of epsom salt!!!!???
what's the feedback on this issue from those that have done this cleansing. please.

Did another cleanse on the 17th. Going to do another one this weekend. It's hard to tell if it's a placebo effect or not because I've been 100% raw for over two months, but I do produce a lot of what Alissa describes in the cleanse. My breathing did feel remarkably better after the first cleanse though. Anybody else doing a liver cleanse?

I took MMS for a week before. The kidney cleanse isn't really necessary because being raw is probably the best thing you can do for your kidneys.

Yeah I saw the exact same article myself and I thought also that the mixture simply creates the stones as well but when I opened them up, they had calcified somehow and it definitely didn't happen overnight. Believe me, I thought this was complete quackery as well, but when I did it, I went nuts for a bit and tried to prove to myself that it was just saponified oil but it's really not that.

Hello Gaius!
I also read that article and it stopped me from doing a liver cleanse. But I was thinking, a few days after doing it, do you see any improvement to your health? If that's the case, I'll be definitely convinced it works and try it myself. What are the changes that you can still see now?

Yeah it actually helped me with a problem I had. I've never been as active as I'd like to be because everytime I would breathe extremely deeply, I would experience this troubling discomfort in my chest. After I did my first cleanse, for some reason that I can't seem to explain, I could take the deepest of breaths without experiencing any discomfort whatsoever. It was weird, but I promise you, the problem was gone after doing it for the first time.
When I realized it was gone, I immediately looked up what I read before about the liver cleanse and that people have reported getting rid of their asthma and allergies by doing this cleanse, so I think I might have had a mild form of asthma.
My suggestion is this: don't do it unless you have an affliction as I did. Look up how the liver cleanse can help you with it and if it can, do it. There's no harm to your body in doing the cleanse and you may even get rid of an existing condition like I did.

You're welcome and good luck! And please report back and let me know if your chest pain went away or receded after doing this because it made it go away for me and I still can't believe it.
I'm actually done with these cleanses myself since I have zero breathing problems now and I've taken upon yoga, raw food and sunlight as my healing activities but I hope to hear from more people who benefit from this cleanse, which I would have never done if it weren't for Alissa's post.

Yes, yes. Definitely do it on a weekend. A Saturday worked for me, so I could recover all day Sunday before going back to work.
Oh and another tip! When you drink the epsom salt, keep something tasty like honey around to immediately remove the awful taste of epsom salt from your mouth.
And when you fall asleep, make sure to try and sleep on your back and remain motionless. Make sure to prepare your sleeping area in advance so that you minimize all movement after drinking the oil mixture.

Hi Gaius!
The cleanse is planned for tomorrow (Saturday). I've spent my week following the instructions of Alissa (lemon juice, apple juice...).
Except diarrhoea, any other side effect I should know about? Should I plan a one day fast (on Sunday) for my body to go back to normal after the cleanse?

No side effects really, you may feel a bit "off" when you wake up, though. Some people take it better than others, but it's safe for all people. You shouldnt fast, but you should be drinking only water and juice the next morning until you've finished passing whatever is inside you. When you're done passing them, you can eat raw as usual.

Hi!
Liver cleanse done, I've just started eating again. Surprisingly, except my upper body feeling warm and a little bit tense during the night (after drinking the oil mixture), I felt quite well. I didn't even really felt the gallstones moving inside me. But I can tell you they were there this morning. That's really surprising. I mean, eating raw (well, that's recent for me, but I had a sort of sane 'SAD' diet before) and being young, I didn't believe I would have that much of these stones inside me. Better out than in.
I think I'll do another cleanse next month, and after that, maybe once or twice a year. I'll first wait and see if I have any visible positive change in my health in the coming days and week. I'll report if I notice something interesting.
Thank you Gaius, without your thread, I don't think I would have had the courage to do this.

Glad you did it, TFO. I did a few of them myself, but now that I'm raw, I don't feel the need to do them anymore. Just remember, only do it if you haven't gotten rid of an issue that can be relieved by a cleanse.

I believe you can use any plant-based oil and be fine with it. You HAVE to include oil in the cleanse or it simply will not work.
