At the moment im pretty skinny and really dont want to lose anymore weight, im quite scared that may happen by going raw though trying to beat my skin issues. Eating just fruit and veg is just going to result in weight loss isnt it? Or is there anything i can do to not lose weight.

nuts and seeds are high fat high calorie,

Hiya

I don't wanna loose weight either, i've been very skinny and i've finally gained some muscle weight and i feel very comfortable in my body just the way it is.
Raw, i think, is somehting that (if done correcly, as in enough energy and nutritients) will balance you out. Someone overweight will loose, and someone underweigth will gain.

Just make sure you get a lot of energy (calories) from your food, and start working out a couple of times a week, and you'll be fine

Sorry i should have been abit more precise with my diet, i suspect i have candida and im trying to eliminate all fat for a while so im trying to stay away from nuts and seeds for abit. I love brazil nuts, but found that they caused my acne to get worse which was a shame. Im hoping after i limit my fat intake for a while, gradually over time my body will be able to handle it better.

kool thanks :) Which fruits contain most calories? The main fruits i eat at the moment are bananas, apples, strawberries and pineapples.

I do not want to lose weight either. I have been doing this for 30 days now and have not lost an ounce. I have been eating tons of highfat things. But since my body has only wanted water and kombucha, I am kinda scared that I am going to lose some wieght. I cannot afford to do that. So I feel your pain. I keep lots of raw cookies and deserts since they are high in nuts and avocados.

I did get too skinny initially but your body knows best and my weight cam back without me changing my diet.
I think that this is the normal process and you should try to thrust your body and just stay raw and not worry about it.
It will all come right in the end.

It is possible that you loose some but only to loose the bad fat, you will gain back. I went underweight and now i am a normal weight. Raw vegan food did clear up my skin

Congratulations on your journey!

I've heard it said that so much garbage may be stored in the fat that your body wants to burn it all up but then will add clean fat after you are fully detoxed.

I've accepted the fact that I will likely go under my desired weight to do this and then regain.

I will continue to eat whatever I want in the 100% raw world, exercise, do my sauna-ing and epsom slat bathing, and feel free to not eat when I don't feel like it....

This i think is very important. I have a very clear memory from junior high when in biology i think, we were studying seals and why the seal population where i live had decreased becuase since seals have such a high body fat % they would basically store all the toxins they got into their bodies from eating poisonous fish.

Ofcourse, this goes for humans as well! Goning under a certaing body fat % is not healthy and can cause severe damage, but in moderation i believe "rejuvenating" your body fat is very good!

I just read on one site that said eating bananas help you to build muscle, is this true? I think they contain a fair few calories and i love them, so would be good as i certainly need some muscle.

I dont have a real answer to you on this one, as I myself is in the same shoes as you and dont want to loose any weight. But I have heard that Doug Grahams 80/10/10 is surpose to be good to gain weight on as it has a lot of calories from fruits and is also good for candida as it is only about 10% fat a day. But you do need fat ;) it is important. soaking the nuts and blend with water and spices I found makes them less "fatty" and more easy to digest. Try differnet nuts or seeds to see what works for you. ex. cashews are more low fat than most nuts. there is also flax, chia and hemp seeds that are great.
By the way I have found out that lots of avocadoes a day makes me loose weight faste. So I only eat a 1/2 or one avocado a day max.
But we do need fat. Green smoothies will also give some fatty acids, but ading just a little fatty somthing to your diet everyday would be a good idear. Grounded up flax seeds or flaxseed oil or hemp oil would be a good idear. I dont belive that the nut based dishes are that healthy but a little handfull of some good fat a day is :D it is all about food combining too ;)
Greens will help your liver to deal with the fats, so they can be used in a good way by your body.

i know from me.. i'm very skinny yet store toxins in my stomach fat quite a bit. when drinking a lot i got a small beer belly. after i quit drinking within a couple weeks i lost a lot of fat in my stomach and waist... about 1-2 inches..and i still ate the same.
