Hey everyone!!
I've been on this forum for a while to do some research and to inspire myself to eat mostly raw diet. This place is a great source of information and a home for many positive and fun personalities! :)
Well, something about me then...I have been interested in the raw way of eating on and off over the years but hadn't tried it until this year. From January to March I was really good and ate lots and lots of raw foods. I could definitely tell the difference in how I felt and looked! Now in April I unfortunately went back to eating more cooked foods, bread, cheese and chocolate plus other sugary foods (I don't eat red or white meat, fish only very occasionally). Reason for this was holidays, travelling, visiting friends etc. Basically not having my usual routine of eating. And now I find it very hard to give up sugar and grains again :(
My main health issues are weight gain (I am about 10kg/22 lbs overweight), hormonal issues (I think I have PCOS but haven't had official diagnosis yet), slightly raised cholesterol, dry skin, occasional eczema, lack of energy, mood swings etc. So I am hoping eating mainly raw diet would help me with all these problems and I could be the healthy, happy person I want to be! :)
I am hoping to find some new ideas and support from this forum to get back to high raw and make myself healthy again!! Good luck to everyone else here who are struggling with the same issues as me! :D
