I was just wondering if anyone freezes soup and what was it like after freezing?

I wanted to make up some yummy soup, but I am going on vacation and did not want to waste the produce so I thought I would make up a whole batch and just freeze what I don't eat.

Good idea...freezing ,it is said, loses some nutrients but lots of peeps freeze lots of stuff..so go for it. Happy vacation..wooohooo

Hmmmmmmm, maybe take the Soup with you :). I sure would take some Fruit, or Smoothie Leather with me, some Nuts, seeds and dried Fruit. I reccomend taking Food with you, its better to have it than not. Have a RAWonderful Vacation.

Thank you Spicyful. I will do just that. I will be on the 30 day Raw Challange while on vacation and I do not want to get off track. The last city on my three-city vacation has many Raw restaurants, but the first two cities not so much.

ah but all of those places have veggie markets!!!

your soup will do great. i find that if i freeze liquid with spices... it doesn't do well. also tomatoes need to be frozen with nothing added to them... or it doesn't taste good at all.

other than that... so far i haven't had any yucky juices and i freeze them all the time!

Yes, there are tons of veggies markets at time of year in the South. I am determined to stay Raw AND SO IT IS.
