Where do you purchase your Raw ingredients such as all the raw nuts? Oatmeal, coconut and other 'butters'.
This raw baby coconut I have never heard of?
What is wrong with the regular coconut found in Florida?
I have no raw store anywhere near my place.
Are most of these things ordered online?

I can purchase most at the local health food store. I'm looking for the best place to purchase bulk nuts that are really raw, though!
You can definitely get everything online for sure. (we aren't supposed to post links to other stores i don't think)

There is probably an Asian store in your town and they will have the coconuts (and other things like durian). Most towns have them to supply the Asian restaurants so look into it.

There is absolutely no reason for someone who lives in Florida to buy coconuts imported from Thailand. :confused:

You might also check to see if there are coconut farms in your area. If I lived in Florida, I would definitely buy locally grown coconuts.

If you can't find truly raw butters (tahini, etc.)and nuts (cashews, etc.) locally, they can be ordered online from Alissa herself--check the 'Alissa's store' link on the right side of the page.

from everything ive heard, organic coconuts are rare, even from the farms. they usually use some type of chemicals. its suppose to be very bad the conventional ones.

i get real raw almonds and cashews from www.dimondhealth.com
so good
oh also got artisana almond butter from them.

Alissa doesnt carry much butters and no nuts anymore. :(
