I know several of you dont eat nuts or seeds. What do you eat in its place and how do you make shure to get protein enouth ?. Yes I know another protien question LOL but I have crohn/colitis and do not digest protien really well, so it is kind of important to me ;)
I just had cashew chess and I dont do to well :-( plus it is pollon season and i cross-react with nuts too. So I need somthing to eat so my family wont freakout that I dont get enough of the important stuff you know.
Sprouts ? avocado ? greens ? anything else ?

I only eat nuts rarely . . . but I do a lot of seeds in their place. Are you allergic to nuts and seeds or just nuts?
Olives are great for fat and protein. Spirulina and chlorella are totally a powerhouse for good fats and protein. Spirulina is the highest protein food in the world! You can add spirulina to smoothies and snack on chlorella tablets like nuts.
Can you tolerate coconut? That might be a good source for you if you are not allergic. Coconut oil mixed with honey and spirulina is a great health builder, protein/fat source.
Sun Warrior Rice Protein powder is often used with success by people who have allergies. It is raw, not 100% natural, but I've seen it really help people who couldn't eat a lot of other foods (like my cousin who is allergic to everything). Rice is hypo-allergenic.

Thankyou :D
I can do some seeds like hempseeds, flax seeds and I just discoverd chia :-)
I normaly can do pine nuts in small amounts not to offen and cashews. But pollen season kicked in and I can feel cashews are not to great anymore. So I have to wait to autum to have them again.
Im not to fond of coconut, yes on my skin, but not to eat. sorry :)
I have been eating spirulina everyday for years, but a couple of months ago it felt like my body had enough of spirulina and I just dident feel like taking it anymore. So im taking a break. Maby it is like Viktoria Boutenko says about greens, that if you do a particular one to much for to long you get to a point where your body dont want to have it anymore.
So much for the picky eater LOL I have rice protien but dont take it much, not a big fan of that either lol
Thankyou for you surgestions, the honey spirulina combination sounds really good, yummy ;)

Sun Warrior Rice Protein powder is often used with success by people who have allergies. It is raw, not 100% natural, but I've seen it really help people who couldn't eat a lot of other foods. It is natural if you get the Natural flavor instead of the other ones. Though they have improved the flavored ones even though the website doesn't reflect it. I use this.
Rarely eat nuts or seeds. I don't worry about my intake of anything.

So I shoulden worry to much about the proteins if I eat what we have been talking about ? that sounds great :D I just get this from my family all the time; "you dont get protein enought", sigh. I wish I could prove to them that I actualy do.
